Stormwater Management
Stormwater management and pollution prevention are emerging issues across New York State, especially in rapidly urbanizing areas such as Albany County. The Soil and Water Conservation District is active in the implementation of grant-funded projects to address stormwater concerns. These projects include storm drain stenciling, development and distribution of educational materials, and stormwater workshops for construction contractors and municipal officials.
