County Executive McCoy to Present Film Exploring Thriving Senior Communities

Posted: Thursday, March 7, 2019 12:08 PM

Albany County Executive Daniel P. McCoy and Age Friendly Albany County have been working together to improve the lives of seniors throughout the county. As they work towards that goal, they invite members of the public to join them for a free viewing of Peter Odabashian’s documentary “Somewhere to Be” that explores the ways to create supportive and thriving communities – like that of a Greenwich Village senior center – for older residents that allow them to remain active, social and healthy in their golden years. The showing will take place Thursday, March 14 at 12:30pm in the Spectrum Movie Theater, 290 Delaware Ave, Albany, NY 12209.
