Albany County Executive McCoy to Host Ribbon Cutting for Latest Phase of the Albany County Rail Trail in Delmar

Join Albany County Executive Daniel P. McCoy and local leaders will hold a ribbon cutting and celebration of the completion of the latest phase of the Albany County Rail.

The County Executive will be joined by Bethlehem Town Supervisor John Clarkson and Mark King, Executive Director of the Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy to mark the opening of the three mile trail between Delmar and South Pearl Street in Albany and the cooperative effort to pave the nearly four miles of the rail trail from Albany to Firefighters’ Park in Slingerlands.

The event will be held on May 23 at 10:30 a.m. on the rail trail adjacent to the Stewart’s Shop in Delmar at 309 Delaware Avenue. Parking is available at the Delmar Health and Fitness, located just off the rail trail at 28 Hudson Ave.
