Committee Assignments: Court Facilities, Public Works and Audit & Finance
L. Michael Mackey is serving his first term in the Albany County Legislature as the representative of residents of the 38th Legislative District. The Legislative District is made up of parts of the Towns of New Scotland and Bethlehem. A local attorney, Michael is one of the original partners of Feeney, Centi & Mackey which is a general civil practice, with an emphasis on business, estate, and personal injury litigation. He has served as Town Attorney in the Town of New Scotland from 2004 to 2011. Michael graduated from Siena College with a Bachelor's degree Cum Laude and earned his Law Degree from Albany Law School where he also graduated Cum Laude. He has since been recognized by Best Lawyers in America in the field of Personal Injury Litigation. Michael is a member of the New Scotland Historical Association; Voorheesville PTA; and Voorheesville Sons of the American Legion. Michael and his wife, Martha, are the parents of three children, Patrick, Ethan and Lauren.
