County Legislators
Committee Assignments: Law, Social Services and Health
Noelle Kinsch is serving her first term in the Albany County Legislature as the representative of residents of the 6th Legislative District. The district is comprised of Delaware Avenue, Second Avenue, Whitehall Rd., Pine Hills, New Scotland/Woodlawn and Park South neighborhoods in the City of Albany. Noelle is an attorney who graduated from Albany Law School in 1996. She was a member of the Albany Law Review and served as President of her class. She graduated from Union College in 1992 with a Political Science degree. Noelle is active in her community. She is a 15+ year volunteer for Equinox, where she has served as President of the Board of Directors and coordinated the delivery of the Equinox Thanksgiving Dinner meals. She also served on the Board of Directors of Mercy Cares for Kids Daycare Center. Noelle is active in the neighborhood within her district and she is a member of the New Scotland Elementary PTA. In addition, she is a member of the First Church in Albany (Reformed), having previously served as a Deacon and Sunday school teacher. Noelle and her husband, Darius Shahinfar, have two young children.
