Douglas A. Bullock has been an Albany County Legislator since 2008, representing residents of the 8th Legislative District and since the 2010 re-districting, he represents the 7th Legislative District.
A life-long labor leader and activist, Doug is retired from the New York State Department of Labor, Building 12, where he worked for the Unemployment Insurance Division. He is First Vice-President of the Albany Central Federation of Labor and has been active in the Public Employees Federation, Solidarity Committee of the Capital District, Working Families Party, Labor/Religion Coalition, Citizens for Public Transportation, Capital District Alliance for Universal Health Care, Beverwyck Neighborhood Association and Pine Hills Neighborhood Association.
Doug served with the U.S. Army Reserve from 1964-70. He lives with his family at 77 Benson Street around the corner from Albany High School.
