Albany County Reentry Resources

The Albany County Reentry Task Force is one of many DCJS grant funded Task Forces currently operating in NYS.

Our mission is to increase public safety and to reduce recidivism by addressing the needs of formerly incarcerated individuals and helping them to overcome any barriers encountered upon returning to their communities that might prohibit them from becoming self-sufficient productive members of society.

The Albany County Reentry Task Force is led by the following three agencies: Albany County Department of Mental Health; Albany County Department of Probation; and Albany County Department of Social Services.
