*RESTAURANT ALLOWANCE (in addition to Food Stam benefits):
Monthly allowance of $64.00 for persons residing in motels/hotels without cooking facilities.
An additional allowance of $36.00 monthly should be issued to the following individuals:

  • Any woman with a medically verified pregnancy
  • A person under 18 years of age
  • A person under 19 years of age attending a secondary school or equavilent
    Note: excludes Schuyler Inn residents


PREGNANCY ALLOWANCE:
$50.00/mo. (NEVER PRORATED) beginning in the 4th month of pregnancy or the month in which medical verification is presented whichever is later.


ROOM AND BOARD:
Maximum per person $120.00/mo. Plus $45.00/mo Incidentals.


GROSS INCOME LIMIT:
No Public Assistance household shall be eligible for a grant in any month in which the household’s total income before application of any disregards or exclusions exceeds 185% of the household’s standard of need (including special needs). Total income includes the income of all persons in the household applying for or in receipt of public assistance and legally responsible relatives. Exceptions to countable income and individualized standards of need are discussed in the Source Book, Sections XVI-B-1 and XVI-B-2.
