Substance Abuse Prevention Program

The mission of Albany County Substance Abuse Prevention Program (ACSAPP) is to promote healthy behaviors by providing resources that empower the individual, the family, the workplace and the community to cope with complex and stressful conditions in our society.  ACSAPP provides a range of services that are designed to provide information, education, alternatives, social norms and environmental change.

ACSAPP is available to individuals, parent groups, schools, communities and the workplace.  Our staff will serve as a resource to provide a service in a way that best meets the presenting need.

We encourage all citizens to engage in our initiatives to reduce underage drinking throughout the county - "Communities That Care" and "Parents Who Host Lose The Most".

If you are interested in any of ACSAPP's services please contact the program coordinator at 447-4945.
