Albany County Executive Honors Exceptional Volunteers within the Community

Join Albany County Executive Daniel P. McCoy as he honors six recipients for the 2017 Albany County Executive’s Volunteer Award. Honorees include an 11th grader from Shaker High School, who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in the community; a woman who has gone above and beyond for the Adopt-A-Wish Campaign; another honoree is the creator of the Adopt-A-Family program in Green Island; a man who has volunteered for decades to youth athletics; and other extraordinary citizens who have served in Albany County.
The ceremony will be held on Monday, April 24 at 10:30 am in the Cahill Room at 112 State Street.
These annual awards presented by County Executive McCoy provide a measure of recognition to those who go above and beyond to make our community a better place to live.
