Karate students

Under the direction of Shihan Tony Butler and his personally trained assistants, boys and girls ages 5 to 14 benefit from the valuable lessons taught.

The style of karate taught is Shotokan karate.

Self-discipline, self-confidence, and respect are just some of the qualities that are taught through this program.

Students will be provided with their own gi (uniform), and will be exposed to and participate in tournaments and events.

Currently we are holding karate classes at the following locations and times:

  • Ravena: Mondays, 6:15-7:15pm, Pieter B. Coeymans Elementary School, 66 Church Street
  • Berne: Tuesdays, 6:00-7:00pm, BKW Elementary School, 1738 Helderberg Trail
  • Clarksville: Tuesdays, 6:00-7:00pm, Sheriff’s Department, 58 Verda Avenue
  • Watervliet: Thursdays, 6:00-7:00pm, Watervliet Civic Center, 14th Street & 1st Avenue
  • Cohoes: Fridays, 6:00-7:00pm, Cohoes Middle School, 7 Bevan Street
  • Colonie: Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30pm, Maywood Elementary School, 1979 Central Avenue

All classes are open enrollment, and run year round. Registration for new students is done at each site, or you can register online »
