Albany County Bullying Prevention Task Force

The Albany County Bullying Prevention Task Force is committed to reducing bullying through awareness and education.

The Task Force provides free programs and training for all students, faculty, support staff, athletic coaches and caregivers on bullying prevention, intervention strategies and creating positive and welcoming environments for youth, supplementing state mandates for school communities responsible for ensuring compliance with the New York State Dignity for All Students Act (DASA).

The Task Force partners include the Albany County Crime Victim and Sexual Violence Center,Cornell Cooperative Extension Albany County, Capital Region BOCES – CAPIT, Equinox, Inc. Youth Services and the Pride Center of the Capital Region.
